Getting a schedule into a PDA
There are two ways to get schedules into a Palm or other PDA. One is as a web page using AvantGo. With AvantGo, you synch the Palm with the latest copies of certain web pages/schedules generated by amion.com.

The other way is to get just your assignments into the PDA calendar. Go to your personal calendar at amion.com. At the bottom of the page, click one of the two links for downloading the schedule data. One link is for Palm PDAs. The other is for Pocket PCs and other handelds that synch with MS Outlook. The page that appears will have instructions for transferring the data to a Palm or other handheld.

To download web pages via AvantGo, you'll provide AvantGo with the URL (called a "Channel") for the page you want on the PDA. The URL for the full call schedule would look like this:

http://www.amion.com/cgi-bin/ocs?Lo=XXX&Page=Call

Replace the XXX with your department's login password. The "Page=Call" specifies that you want the full call schedule. If you end the URL after the password, you get the default page that appears when you log in, which for most departments is the list of who's on call today. The URL:

http://www.amion.com/cgi-bin/ocs?Lo=XXX&Page=Call&Pero=1

would give you next month's schedule.
