| To
use the online requests feature, you must enter people's email addresses into your OnCall
file. For resident schedules, open OnCall and put a block schedule on screen and click
on a person's name. For calendar-year schedules, go to the work-preferences screen in
OnCall by clicking the small face icon on the main toolbar. In the lower-left corner of
the Infobox, you'll see 3 boxes for entering pager #, tel # and email address. The email
goes in the bottom box.
Republish your file to the web. Next, log into the administrator page at
amion
via File / Publish on the web / Admin login;
or go to
amion
and log in directly with your admin password.
You should have a section for emailing people. To get people
going with the special requests, email them a special-request form.
Enter a note if you'd like to provide instructions or some other message with the email.
The email each person receives will have a link to his/her
special request page at
amion.com.
Once people log into the special request system, they can review and modify their requests.
They can also set a personal password that lets them get back to the
request page directly via the button on the main toolbar
instead of an email link.
When you're ready to retrieve the requests people submit,
log back into amion.com as the administrator and
click the link to get people's requests.
