If you are moving to a new computer, or if you will be taking over or sharing a schedule file created by another user, you will need to download and install the OnCall software.

From the download page click on the full version for the year that you need to download. There are installation instructions for attendings and residencies.

If you're moving to a new machine, be sure the schedule file(s) you've built with OnCall will be available on the new machine. If they are stored on the C: drive of the old computer, you can copy all the ".sch" files over to a folder on a network drive, or onto a USB flash drive. If you've been publishing your schedules at amion.com, you can also retrieve the schedule file from our server.

If you are taking over a schedule or will be sharing scheduling, ask your colleague to publish their schedule online at amion.com so that you can retrieve and work on it.

To retrieve the online schedule, start OnCall and choose Open an existing schedule or go to File / Open. At the bottom of the Open dialog box, there's a spot for entering your amion administrator password. Type the password and then click the Open from amion button.

Save your schedule giving it an easily recognizable name including the year covered by the schedule.
